AOE-COE
Worker Compensation AOE-COE cases center around determining the facts involving an alleged injury by a worker on the job. The terms AOE and COE are generally defined as:
- AOE- Arise Out of Employment; an on the job injury or illness that is a result of activities performed on the job.
- COE- Course of Employment, an on the job injury or illness that occurs as a result of regular activities an employee carries out (or supposed o carry out) on the orders of his/her employer.
When a worker is suspected of being injured on the job, the employer must quickly and efficiently determine that facts’ surrounding the alleged injury before evidence is lost and memories fade.
